“The money raised from the golf outing will fund services and programs for residents of our community. The staff and volunteers at Jewish Family Service and the Jewish Community Center were thrilled to be able to host this annual event while assuring the health and safety of everyone involved,” said Todd Arsenault, Co-Chair, JFS Team.

The JFS & JCC Golf Tournament featured many exciting on-course contests including Longest Drive, Hit the Float, Inside the Circle, Putting, and Hit the Solar Panel, sponsored by Geoscape Solar. In addition, a Hole in One contest provided a chance for players to win a two-year lease on a Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Gary Barbera. In an effort to ensure safe social distancing, participants turned to Facebook Live the following morning to learn which golfers won great prizes including restaurant gift cards, local business certificates, gift baskets, wine and more.

“We are grateful for the individuals and businesses who generously supported this tournament with participation, sponsorships and donations. Everyone enjoyed a great day of golfing and ultimately, helped two community agencies, the JCC and JFS, raise much-needed funds,” said David Schultz, Co-Chair, JCC Team.

This year’s Shotgun sponsors were The Jack R. Linsky Foundation and Seaboard Building & Restoration, and the Beverage sponsor was Tito’s Handmade Vodka. In addition, Atlantic Coast Alarm, South Jersey Paper Products, and BCA Insurance Group served as Fore sponsors, while Polistina & Associates, Harrison Beverage, Law Offices of Melissa Rosenblum, Roth-Goldsteins’ Memorial Chapel, and Fitzpatrick, Bongiovanni & Kelly, CPA, were Drive sponsors. Harbor Pines Golf Club, Calvi Electric Company, and Bootleggers Liquor Outlet served as Birdie sponsors and Ruth’s Chris Steak House was a Mission sponsor. Also, Robert and Susan Lang served as the Sanitizer sponsor, which provided sanitizer stations throughout the course.
