When Hurricane Florence hit the Carolinas in September, the Ochoas lost everything. FEMA is only giving them $28,546, which will not cover the cost to repair their family’s home, let alone their personal items that were lost.

Over the course of Mr. Ochoa’s 24 years of service, he collected many mementos, including his uniforms, and now everything is gone.

To date, the Mt. Ephraim Philly Pretzel Factory has already donated $5,000.
