Marlton, NJ – Cherokee Russian language students participated (virtually) in the Delaware Valley Olympiada hosted by Temple University on March 23, 2021.

The Olympiada of Spoken Russian is an annual competition for high school students held throughout the United States from February through May.
The competition consisted of categories from Russian history and culture; poetry recitation; and conversations related to family, school, and sports.
Our students prepared months in advance for this unique and enjoyable event. It is with great pride we announce that 10 students received gold medals, 8 received silver medals and 1 student was awarded a bronze medal.

The Lenape Regional High School District’s four high schools – Lenape, Shawnee, Cherokee, and Seneca – as well as the Sequoia Alternative Program, educate approximately 6,850 students from eight communities in Burlington County.
The communities served include Evesham, Medford, Medford Lakes, Mount Laurel, Shamong, Southampton, Tabernacle, and Woodland.
