Public Hearing on April 16 for Ordinances Allowing Brewpub Licenses in Mt. Ephraim

There will be a public hearing and final adoption on April 16 for two Ordinances that allow the issuance of Brewpub licenses in Mt. Ephraim.

The regular commission meeting of the Borough of Mount Ephraim will be held as a virtual meeting using Zoom on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at 7:00 pm.

Public participants will be muted until the open public portion. This meeting will have an open public portion where the public will be given the opportunity to ask questions.

There will be a public hearing and final adoption at this meeting for two Ordinances that will establish and make permissible the issuance of Brewpub licenses in the borough and where they can be located.

The agenda for this meeting will be available on the borough website at on the Borough’s website at www.mountephraim-nj.com.

These ordinances were approved on first reading at the March 5, 2020 commission meeting.

Ordinance 2020-03: Amending and Supplementing Article II of Chapter 85 of the Borough Code to Expand the Permitted Issuance of Class A Liquor Licenses for Limited Breweries, Restricted Breweries (Brewpubs), Instructional Winemaking Facilities and Limited Distilleries.

Ordinance 2020-04: Amending and Supplementing Article IV of Chapter 525 of the Borough Zoning Ordinance to permit Limited Breweries, Restricted Breweries, Instructional Winemaking Facilities and Limited Distilleries in the C Commercial Zoning District.

If anything changes, the new information will be published on the Borough’s website and meeting agendas will be posted to the website 24 hours before the meeting is scheduled to begin.
