Cherry Hill marks the latest of several new stores for UNIQLO in 2023, with additional openings planned throughout the fall as the brand continues its expansion in North America. Focused on increasing its presence in key regions, especially the east and west coasts, UNIQLO aims to reach 200 stores in North America by 2027.

Joseph F. Coradino, Chairman and CEO of PREIT, owner and operator of Cherry Hill Mall said:

We are incredibly excited to open our newest store in the New Jersey area – a region we have loved being a part of for many years,” said UNIQLO USA CEO Yoshihide Shindo.

Our aim is to delight customers with clothing and services that improve your everyday life. The UNIQLO Cherry Hill team has worked incredibly hard preparing a beautiful store, and we look forward to welcoming all on August 25.

The opening of UNIQLO at Cherry Hill Mall is not only a testament to PREIT’s commitment to curating exceptional retail experiences but also indicates the strength of the property at attracting world-class tenants.

As we open the doors to this international brand, we reaffirm Cherry Hill Mall’s place as an unrivaled gem within our portfolio and a fashion destination for South Jersey and Greater Philadelphia residents and visitors.

Products and Services

Shoppers will be able to enjoy UNIQLO’s iconic products, such as Supima T-shirts, Sweats, Jeans, and AIRism – an inner layer that wicks moisture and keeps you dry and comfortable.

It will also offer transitional items for entering fall weather, like Ultra Light Down jackets – designed to pack warmth and lightness into a convenient carrying pouch as the perfect travel solution, and Knitwear options–from machine-washable Extra Fine Merino to 100% premium cashmere.

For fast and convenient service, the store will offer self-checkout, operated by radio frequency technology to make the process simple and seamless; and buy-online-pickup-in-store service, to ensure customers leave with what they need in the right fit, and complimentary alterations.

For any pair of pants $20 or above (excluding athletic wear and sweat pants), UNIQLO provides free hemming services to pant lengths fit to the customers’ unique measurements.

Community Support

UNIQLO aims to improve the lives of people everywhere, not only through clothing, but in service. Leading up to Grand Opening, UNIQLO Cherry Hill store staff volunteered together at the Cherry Hill Food Pantry, which is dedicated to supplying groceries and related social services to those in need within Cherry Hill and surrounding communities. The team helped to pack and organize nutritious food items to be delivered to families and individuals.

In addition to serving local communities, UNIQLO routinely delivers clothing to people in need throughout the world. Through the brand’s RE.UNIQLO program, customers are invited to donate their gently worn UNIQLO clothing back to their local stores so that UNIQLO can give it to those who need it most.

For the Cherry Hill store, these donations will go to Families Forward Philadelphia – an organization with a mission to help families experiencing homelessness become healthy, productive, and self-reliant and assist parents in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.
