You’re Invited: Westville Fire Dept. Celebrates 35th Anniversary With Ceremony & Open House on Oct. 13

On Friday, October 13, 2023, the Westville Fire Department will celebrate its 35th anniversary by honoring the past and setting forth to its future.

Event Schedule:

6 p.m. – Opening Ceremony

6:45 to 9 p.m. – Open House

What You Will See:

The community can check out fire apparatus, learn fire prevention tips, see emergency services displays, talk with volunteer organizations, and enjoy light refreshments.

About the Westville Fire Department:

Before the organization of the Westville Fire Department, the Borough of Westville was protected by two separate fire companies, the Union Fire Company No.1 and Independent Fire Company No.2.

On January 1, 1988 the Westville Fire Department formed and in August 1989 all Fire Department operations were moved to Broadway and Olive Street where they remain today. Westville Fire Department honored 100 years of Independent Fire Company No. 2 in 2022 and Union Fire Company in 2021.

The Westville Fire Department is located at 23 W Olive St., Westville, NJ 08093 at Broadway and Olive Street.
