45-Year-Old Male Shot & Killed in Pleasantville; Investigation Underway

On October 9, 2023, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a male identified as Mamadou Toure, 45, from Pleasantville was shot and killed in the vicinity of West Pleasant Avenue and Main Street in Pleasantville.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department are cooperatively investigating this incident.
