MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. – Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi announced that $45,000 in reward money is being posted in an effort to gain information from the public that will help close nine unsolved homicides dating back to June 2015.
Five of the homicides occurred in Willingboro, two in Pemberton Township and one each in Beverly City and Florence. The causes of death in every instance were related to gunshot wounds. The investigations into all of the cases are active and ongoing.

A $5,000 reward is being posted for each homicide. Willingboro Public Safety Director Gregory Rucker, Pemberton Township Police Chief David H. Jantas, Beverly City Public Safety Director Rich Wolbert and Florence Township Police Chief John A. Bunce joined Prosecutor Bernardi in appealing to those with knowledge of the killings to assist with the efforts to solve these cases.
“We know there are witnesses – or people who have information about these homicides – and we hope this reward money encourages them to come forward and help apprehend those who are responsible for these killings,” Prosecutor Bernardi said. “We are also fully aware of the mindset of some people on the street that the police should not be assisted with solving crimes. I’m asking the public to have the courage to reject that line of thinking. There is no honor in allowing a murderer to go unpunished. Please help us to protect our communities by removing these perpetrators from society.”
Prosecutor Bernardi emphasized that the reward money will only be given if the information provided leads to an arrest and a conviction. The reward money is being made available from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Law Enforcement Trust Account, which is funded from the proceeds of unlawful activity.
The details that can be released about these homicides are limited because the investigations are ongoing. Reward posters with the pictures of the victims will be distributed in the areas where the killings occurred.
The investigations into these homicides are being conducted by detectives from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and police departments from Beverly City, Florence Township, Pemberton Township and Willingboro Township.
The homicides for which the reward money is being offered:
Nasim Byrd, 22, of Willingboro. Location of Incident: Willingboro Date of Incident: January 15, 2017
On January 15, 2017, at approximately 11 p.m. Willingboro police were dispatched to a shooting on Placid Lane. Upon arrival they found the victim on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. A dark-colored SUV was reported to have driven away at a high rate of speed.
Tariq Mughal, 32, of Willingboro. Location of Incident: Willingboro Date of Incident: December 27, 2016
On December 27, 2016, Willingboro police responded to a report of a shooting victim in the area of 21 Genesee Lane. The victim was found next to a vehicle.
Ibn Perry, 16, of Willingboro. Location of Incident: Willingboro Date of Incident: December 12, 2016
On December 12, 2016, the victim and three others were on the front porch of the victim’s home located at 79 Plumbtree Lane in Willingboro. A van pulled up and two unknown suspects got out and began firing at the group on the porch. Ibn Perry was struck in the head and killed and another person was struck in the ankle.
Kevin M. Randolph, age 33. Location of Incident: Beverly City Date of Incident: December 9, 2016
On December 9, 2016, Beverly City Police responded to the area of 70 Pine Street for a report of shots fired. It was determined that the victim had been arguing with another male when he was shot several times and collapsed.
Joseph McBreen III, 32, of Pemberton Township. Location of Incident: Pemberton Township. Date of Incident: December 9, 2016.
On December 9, 2016, at 8:51 p.m., Pemberton Police were dispatched to 3503 North Lakeshore Drive for an unconscious male. Upon arrival, the victim was found in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds.
Norman Mosley, 37, of Pemberton Township. Location of Incident: Pemberton Township Date of Incident: September 25, 2016
On September 25, 2016, the victim and his girlfriend were inside his trailer on Alfred Drive in the Browns Mills section of Pemberton Township when two males wearing gloves and masks came inside. A struggle ensued and Norman Mosley was shot and later died at a hospital.
Ronald Walker, 27, of Florence. Location of Incident: Florence
Date of Incident: September 21, 2016
On September 21, 2016, Florence Township Police were dispatched to Zinc Street between 2nd and 3rd streets for a report of shots fired. The investigation revealed that a group of approximately 20 to 30 people had gathered around two individuals who were slap boxing when shots were fired and the victim was fatally struck.
Colby Rodgers, 31, of Mount Laurel. Location of Incident: Willingboro Date of Incident: April 15, 2016
On April 15, 2016, the victim was found shot to death inside a vehicle in front of 68 Woodhaven Lane.
Markal Anderson, 43, of Camden. Location of Incident: Willingboro Date of Incident: June 6, 2015
On June 6, 2015, the victim was fatally shot after attempting to assist a young woman who was being assaulted by a man at a party on Placid Lane.
