D.R. Horton Seeks Approval to Construct 108 Two-Story Residential Townhome Units in Runnemede

The property is 18.4-acres and is currently improved with vacant and wooded lands.

On March 23, 2022 at 7:00 p.m, the Runnemede Joint Planning Zoning heard and approved the application of D.R. Horton NJ/PA for approval to construct, establish, and maintain the establishment of 108 two-story attached residential townhome units and related site improvements at Hartford Drive and Evesham Road.

The property is 18.4-acres and is currently improved with vacant and wooded lands.


The Applicant is proposing to establish approximately 5.9 residential units per acre and the Borough of Runnemede Zoning Ordinance permits a maximum density of three units per acre.

The Applicant seeks bifurcated approval and will return to the Joint Planning/Zoning Board of Adjustment for preliminary and final major site plan approval or preliminary and final major subdivision approval if the present application for the requested density variance is approved.
