The Gloucester City Police Department announced that a Gloucester City man was charged with third-degree theft from the Little League.
On February 2, 2024, William Carr, 44, of Gloucester City, was charged with third-degree theft of over $11,400.

The alleged thefts occurred between June, 2023 and January 2024 while Carr was serving as the president of the Gloucester City Little League.
The charge was placed on a summons pending a Central Judicial Processing Court Hearing.
