Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center Offering $21 Dog Adoption Deal For Joel Embiid’s MVP Win

Homeward Bound will be offering $21 adoption fees for all dogs in the shelter from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7.

In celebration of Philadelphia’s own, Joel Embiid, being named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player for this season, Homeward Bound will be offering $21 adoption fees for all dogs in the shelter from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7.

“There are over 120 dogs waiting at Homeward Bound to find their forever homes,” said Commissioner Jonathan Young, liaison to the animal shelter. “Please consider opening your heart and your home to one of our underdogs at the shelter. And if you are unable to adopt, the shelter is always in need of donations so please consider donating $21 instead.”

The adoption center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fetty is about 8 years old. He has one good eye and one big heart. He is very polite and he does great on a leash. He is also good with other dogs! He takes treats gently and he even writes a little rap in his spare time. (Photo credit: Homeward Bound)
