Investigation Underway In Shooting Death Of Atlantic City Man

An Atlantic City man died today from injuries sustained by gunfire yesterday. On November 7, 2023, at approximately 8:05 pm, a shooting incident occurred in the area of Florida Avenue, between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, in Atlantic City.

Luis Rosa Rodriguez, 23, was located and transported to the AtlantiCare Hospital, City Division, where he was pronounced deceased this afternoon.

This is an active homicide investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office in cooperation with the Atlantic City Police Department.
