New in Runnemede: Black Horse Tattoo, Luca’s Laundry & Cob Fathers

Driving down the Black Horse Pike in Runnemede, we recently noticed two buildings that were undergoing renovations making way for new businesses and another one on Clements Bridge Road that has opened.

Black Horse Tattoo

At the site of the former Classic Camera, 6 N. Black Horse Pike, we saw signage in place for Black Horse Tattoo.

March 12, 2022 Update: Thank you to Bill Tracy who reached out to us to let us know that Black Horse Tattoo has an Instagram page and that he recently spoke with the new owner, Wil Sperling, who plans to open Black Horse Tattoo in April, 2022.

Luca’s Laundry

At 28 S. Black Horse Pike, we saw work underway for a Luca’s Laundry. Previously at that location, there was a law firm, a dentist’s office, and a Rita’s Italian Ice, which has since relocated to 123 W. Clements Bridge Road.

Luca’s Laundry has several other South Jersey locations. On their website, it doesn’t mention when the Runnemede location will open.

Cob Fathers

Cob Fathers serves a variety of roasted corn on the cob and barbecue.

They also serve wings, Chicken Corn Chowder, sandwiches, ribs, and “Big Mike’s Mac N Cheese” that comes plain or with brisket, bacon, or pork.

Cob Fathers’ made from scratch sides include baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, and sauteed spinach.
