Philadelphia Man Arrested for DWI & Aggravated Assault by Auto in Brooklawn Car Crash

A Philadelphia man has been charged with DWI and Aggravated Assault by Auto stemming from a two vehicle crash that occurred on September 4, 2018 on Route 130 & Old Salem Road in Brooklawn.

On September 4, 2018 at approximately 9:20 p.m., there was a two vehicle crash on Route 130 at Old Salem Road in Brooklawn.

“One vehicle was overturned with reported entrapment,” Brooklawn Police Chief Ellis said. “The driver that struck the overturned vehicle was identified as 38-year old Marlon Ricardo Martinez, from Philadelphia. The female victim was taken to Cooper Hospital and was released with minor injuries.”


Chief Ellis said that an officer spoke with her today and she is believed to be in good spirits.

Martinez was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Aggravated Assault by Auto. He was processed and released to a sober adult, Chief Ellis said.

All persons charged with offenses are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
