Positive Response to Open Letter To Gov. Murphy Regarding Casinos Re-Opening

I agree with this letter 100%. It is very scary that a casino can possibly open while we are still fighting a virus that can kill or sicken every age from our youngest to our elders.

There are too many employees that could be exposed to the virus by going back to casino work right now.

We have been taking such precautions to stay sick-free since the closing in March. Everyone has been practicing social distancing and keeping our families safe. I know we have!

Kitchens are small in the casino. There is no way to social distance even among a kitchen staff. How can a salaried manager that is required to work a minimum of 10 hours wear a mask that long?

What the casino doesn’t mention is how they mandate their salaried employees to work 10 plus hours and then turn around and say you have to work 6 days until further notice. Sometimes 7 days! All this and having to wear a mask for all of these hours and then on top of the stress of work and be worried that some may go home and possibly now be a carrier of the virus.
