Prosecutor Files More Charges Against Man in Officer Involved Shooting

 

Additional charges have been filed against Edmond Brown, Jr. the individual who was shot by a Haddon Township police officer on Saturday, October 29, 2016, according to a statement released by the Camden County Prosecutor today.


A search of the vehicle that Brown was operating at the time of the motor vehicle stop revealed a fully loaded Smith and Wesson .357 magnum revolver along with additional ammunition.  He was charged with second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by Certain Persons.  Bail was set at $100,000, 10%.

The incident remains under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

No additional information is being released at this time.
