Rev. Dr. Charles L. McNeil, senior pastor, will moderate the discussion bridging Africa and the Americas with six panelists.
They are:
- Dr. Doreen Loury, retired Pan-African studies professor, Arcadia University
- The Rev. Timothy Merrill, founder Watu Moja, Camden
- The Rev. Dr. Ernest Bebang, Cameroonian pastor
- Prophetess Audrey Maison, Ghanaian missionary and entrepreneur
- Anna-Kay Thomas, college administrator and second-generation Jamaican American
- Royston Wright, international aid monitor and evaluator from Sierra Leone
The program’s title was inspired by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s famed quote: “We may have all come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.” The panelists will share in a wide-ranging conversation about food, culture, politics, and conflicts as they consider common problems, solutions, and the way forward.
