Boro of Bellmawr Requests for Professional Services Proposals Due Dec. 20

The Borough of Bellmawr is soliciting Requests for Proposals including, but not limited to: Borough Auditor, Borough Bond Counsel, Borough Engineer, Borough Planner, Borough Planning Board Solicitor, Borough Prosecutor, Borough Public Defender, Borough Solicitor, Borough Internet Technology, and Borough Zoning Board Solicitor.

According to the document “Establishing a Procedure for the Award of Professional Contracts” that has been uploaded on Bellmawr.com, the Borough is “is desirous of putting in place a fair and open process for the award of professional services contracts.”

In accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, no State agency in the Executive Branch shall enter into a contract having an anticipated value in excess of $17,500.00 with a business entity, except a contract that is awarded pursuant to a fair and open process, if during the preceding one-year period that business entity has made a political contribution to the local political parties.

Proposals Due Dec. 20

The Borough of Bellmawr is accepting proposals for the above positions until December 20, 2016. The contract awards will be made by Mayor and Council at the Borough’s annual reorganization meeting in January, 2017.
