Camden Man Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison for 2nd Degree Armed Robbery

The Gloucester County Prosecutor announced today that Brian J. Robinson, 35, of Camden was sentenced on October 14 to eight years in New Jersey state prison after pleading guilty to a charge of second-degree armed robbery.

Robinson acted alone or with a co-defendant in four convenience store armed robberies that occurred in Deptford, Westville, and Paulsboro over a 10 day period in November and December 2014.

In each case, a knife was used to threaten a store attendant and cash was taken.  Robinson and a co-defendant were arrested shortly after they robbed a Deptford convenience store on December 10, 2014.

Robinson pleaded guilty on August 16, 2016.

Under the New Jersey No Early Release Act,  Robinson must serve 85 percent of his prison term before he is eligible for parole.
