Chipotle Restaurant Proposed For Brooklawn

A new Chipotle restaurant is proposed for the building that use to house the closed AT&T store and before that, Taco Bell.

A new Chipotle is proposed for Brooklawn in the building that used to house the closed AT&T Store and prior to that, Taco Bell.

In April, a sign was posted on AT&T’s door that the store had closed. Customers were directed to the nearest location in Audubon.

In that post, we (along with several other commenters) hoped that Taco Bell might come back, but since it isn’t, Chipotle is still a welcome addition to the Brooklawn Shopping Center.

Renovations to convert the Taco Bell into an AT&T store began in March, 2016.

Tonight, the Brooklawn Planning and Zoning Board will hear the application of Brookwrap LLC, who seeks administrative review/approval for the proposed Chipotle restaurant.

Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting, MSJ Ent. seeks approval for sign variances for Dominoes and Scott Smith will discuss the re-submission of the minor site plan for the High Life Cannabis store.

In April, High Life Cannabis appeared before the Planning Board for approval to open and operate an Adult-Use Cannabis Dispensary in the Brooklawn Shopping Center in the space that is located between Hair Cuttery and Advance Auto Parts.
