The Bellmawr Recreation Enhancement Waterfront Access project (on Creek Road and across from Larc School) is nearing completion.
The formal Budget presentation for the Borough of Bellmawr will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. at next month’s Council meeting.
The Boro of Bellmawr is passing an Ordinance that will allow for a portion of Leaf Avenue to become a one-way street where it intersects with Harding Avenue. Once the change goes into effect, motorists exiting onto Leaf Avenue from Southbound Rt. 42 will be directed to turn right at Harding Avenue.
Bellmawr Mayor Frank Filipek and members of Council addressed concerns from residents. On the business side, all items on the meeting agenda was approved, including settling a grievance that was filed on behalf of three retired members of PBA Local 375.
Construction work is now underway at Bellmawr Boro Hall to make the building compliant as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Councilman Paul Sandrock announced at Council’s January 26 meeting.
